Some pics I took-

They would have put out this on the GT2RS if they have it

One of the Porsche factory test drivers (or another pro driver, if I've remembered wrong) already said it's only 3 seconds difference on the Nordschleife.

918 was 9,150

I'd be very happy with 9200 RPM

Why would this be a surprise?
they already have a 4 L engine that spins to 9000, unlike the first gen where they reduced RPM’s because of the displacement increase

biggest surprise to me would be 550hp

i don’t think MT for GT3RS nor GT2RS (obviously)
Weissach should absolutely be an option, so shouldn’t be the surprise
if they had active aero they would have used it on the flagship GT2RS already
like has been said I doubt a 4.2L is a possibility

maybe KERS but again, why not put it on GT2RS if that is the latest tech? KERS and electric front motors plus NA engine for 992 GT cars, IMHO

Maybe this will change, padded like the M3 GTS...it would be a very welcome surprise!

I'm not sure drs type aero really is going to make such a big difference to the 3rs on the straights. Ultimately it's a 500hp car that's setup with lots of downforce. Even reducing some of that downforce and therefore drag isn't going to stop the brick wall on long straights, especially compared to some of the other very high hp cars like a 488 or 675.

So you think the car will make 138 bhp / L?

LOL

No 4.0 will be offered. Cleaning lady told me back to 3.6 L, but this will allow 12k redline (makes sense because more RPM's). Porsche achieved this with carbon-nano-tube connecting rods and pistons. Also, a manual transmission will be offered, with a hand crank/mechanical starter to save some additional weight (Real mans car, none of that girly electric motor nonsense). A new performance brake option as well. Basically two holes in the floorboard for your feet called FFBT (Fred Flintstone Braking Technology). Saves a significant amount of unsprung weight as no rotors or calipers are needed. Will come with a horizontal 8 ADM. Your first name needs to be Fred to get to the top of the "list".
