Emotional experience - .1 RS to .2 GT3

Before I sold my last house, after I'd wash the cars, I'd sit in my small garage in a lawn chair with a glass of wine or beer in my hand and just stare at my cars and be one with them. My wife thought I was nuts but, other than taking a drive alone in the mountains in them, nothing releases my stress than just sitting quietly in the garage.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. I've even invited friends over for some wine to sit outside but they didn't know it was going to be in the garage.

OP, while I own neither, I have lusted over both, and I agree with you that, at least from a looks perspective, the RS gets my juices flowing more than the new GT3. Porsche just got it so amazingly right on the 991.1RS. The more video I watch, the more I'm starting to really dislike the front bumper on the new GT3. It just looks too big and gaping for me. I liked it at first, but it's reverse growing on me.

It’s funny whenever I come home from a trip we walk through the garage and I say hello to my cars. My family looks at me strange.
I plan on keeping my RS. It’s the best car I’ve owned and it represents a lifelong series of making more good decisions than bad to have it in my garage.
I ordered a touring because I can’t exactly drive the RS to my kids games without attracting a lot of attention so the new gt3 will be black with chrome trim, classic and stealth.

LOL....
Porsche has got everyone posting in this thread by the short hairs, we are all suckers for the next one in the pipeline. I imagine that in two years from now, the likelihood of anyone posting now and still owning the 991.2 GT3 will be remote at best. There is buyers remorse, sellers remorse and no remorse, just bring on the next one... great stuff!

Once you get the taste of RS its extremely hard going back to GT3. I have a .2GT3 scheduled to be built in April but thinking maybe I should grab the .2RS build for March. Dealer says get the GT3 and swap to RS but the way it looks like the GT3 will be built a month after RS so need to make up my mind quick.
