Hey Mr. Whale. If you are interested in the car, why don't you make an offer.
If not, perhaps it's time to move along.

Cw-

You flagrantly missed some facts so lets reiterate

1) this was a port car, not an ordered car

2) re-read that

Quick question- is 300k+ a trivial amount of money for you? As in- if someone calls you out of the blue unexpectedly and offers you a 300k car that neither side expected...do you have it in your wallet today? Maybe you do, maybe you don't but imagine being the poor soul who has to sell off some assets in order to acquire a car. Also imagine that it does not exactly match your order...because...it's a port car.

Stop already. He is in business to make money and can do whatever he deems best for his business. If you want to sell cars for less, buy a dealership and do what you want. There is no moral imperative to provide gt cars at Msrp and this is no place for a deposition.

The most logical conclusion that can be drawn from multiple tedious posts is that you are a dealer that sells above MSRP and are trying to justify your policies. I think most of us are aware of your position. It’s ok to move on.

Well said 👍 I don't necessarily like or agree with ADM games, but his right.

Gee wiz pick up the phone and call one another. Sell for what you want to sell, and people have the choice to buy which sets the market. I have no problem with people cashing in as the market will or will not drive it.

I love the fact that CJ could be doing so many other things yet here he is putting serious work into this car biz.

CJ, how local is local? I’m 2 hours 40 min away. Would I be able to get on your list for a 992 GT3?

Is it just me , or does it seem like cars without FAL are taking a big hit in the resale market?

They almost always sell for a less of a percentage of MSRP, and/or take a lot longer to sell, than cars with FAL.

It’s not you. many who don’t even need front lift spec it anyway just so they don’t get killed on resale.

What is the definition of "big hit or killed" on resale. $5k, 10k, 20k. What about colors, brakes, transmission's, Milage, model, tracked, seats etc. Based on all choices/preferences Porsche offers I guess some may have to pay a buyer to take their car. I have one of each and rarely if ever hit the FAL button and have scraped nothing.

I am used to driving low sports cars and as a habit approach driveways at an angle. People have been driving low Porsches without FAL for decades. I think the FAL is a cool novelty, but not really needed unless there is some really ridiculous pitch to the driveway at your home or work location. The parts that scrape are cheap and can be replaced multiple times for less than the cost of the FAL. BTW, forget to use the lift even once and you might as well have not ordered with it to begin with. I know this from experience and did not bother to order FAL on my GT3 Touring and seem to be getting along just fine for 3000 miles.
