Though, It wasn’t me talking..,,,,he stated 3RS. Maybe he meant 2RS. Still hoping the Easter bunny favors me with a configurable 2RS allocation.

Right and these will also be the last NA cars and let's see how about the last MT cars as well. Got to love salesmanship. We can all say what we want to get you to buy a car. No one can prove it right or wrong. You should have made him a bet. If they make another 3RS in less than 6 yrs you get it for $50K under MSRP, if they don't you pay $50K over. then see how confident he is in that statement (er lie)

The GT3RS cycle so far has been
03-04 (eu)
07-08
10-11
15-16
18-19

There will be a gap but 6 years is a but much

Based on 997 and 991 generations. We should see a 992.1 GT3RS for 2023 model year and a 992.2 GT3RS for 2026MY.

More then likely the next .1 RS will begin production in 3 years, and the next .2 3RS will indeed be ~6yrs out.

997.1 = 07/08
997.2 = 10/11
991.1 = 2016
991.2 = 2019
992.1 = 2023
992.2 = 2026

Thanks for the analysis.......both interesting and informative.

Fully agree CJ. I can see six year gap for the GT2RS but for the hot seller, and more affordable GT3RS, it will not be a six year/stretch gap. Realistically two years after the intro of 992 the GT3 will come out then a year thereafter the GT3RS. So on a good average gap of three years plus or minus, based on what you have shared below.

Except for the 2RS, Porsche is gonna make GT cars like cupcakes, following the same pattern CJ mentioned.

Even the 2RS isn't spared - PAG is cranking them in high numbers (particularly relative to historical figures)

Unless it is numbered and formally limited (e.g. R, Speedster), all bets are off. In fact, bets are that PAG will just build GT cars sans much restraint - build baby, build!

So the best intel out there is that the 2RSs will not be built after the March, is that correct?

seems like 2RS and base GT3 will end March. 3RS will end April, all N.A. 991 production will end Q2.

Then I guess if I don’t get an allocation I have to wait until 2024 to get a configurable allocation or settle for a used 2RS, hopefully not abused.
