Arizona (and I believe) Nevada have no sales tax on used cars. Pay the ADM, get the car the way you want it, then be second to title it and your tax burden is reduced by $20,000.00
Be saavy rather than "clueless".

Hey Everyone, long time lurker new to RL but not the Porsche brand. I have gained a lot of knowledge from everyone and look forward to learning more and interacting with the community. Like many others, I'm looking for a manual .2GT3. I've had a couple of potentials but have waited the market out which appears to be softening. I don't mind paying a bit of ADM but don't want to go crazy. I've had offers anywhere from 12K-35K over MSRP depending on spec. The latest was a signal green example on the west coast or a possible specable allocation from the same dealer - 35K over. Too much for me. I realize I'm the newb here but if anyone has any leads, please PM me. Thanks!

TRAKCAR, I think he's looking at the sales tax portion which would be paid on the ADM in Arizona. I live in AZ too and if we can buy from a private party, there is no sales tax if even that individual marks the car over MSRP (which some are calling ADM but it is not), so there is some savings to be had in that light. My first preference is to establish a relationship with a dealer and pay close to MSRP even though there will be sales tax.

I have an SA that has a GT2-RS in the Houston Port and is asking 150K over MSRP. I will post when I have the spec sheet. SOLD
