Default CAR magazine - Sports Car of the Year - 720S wins, GT3.2 second

In an obvious outcome predicted by many, 720S wins, GT3.2 second and AMG GTR third.

In the 720s price range there is only Ferrari. All else is someone’s idea of a Ferrari.

We come to expect the Porsche GT cars always on top and forget the GT3 is punching in the next two or three classes up against some of these contenders...

On a price vs performance comparison it seems the GT2RS would be more appropriate to compare to the 720s. Would like to see that one in the future,

Me too.

Except I wish the Performante came in 2WD. Then the want would be overwhelming.

As it is, of the Huracans, not sure I would want the Performante in AWD format, as I'm still not convinced that the Huracan is all that enjoyable on track with all four wheels driving the car.

If it had to be an AWD Huracan, I'd probably just get a Spyder and use it a weekend GT / canyon carver. Sort of like a more wild and bodacious Turbo S.

I will take the 2nd place happily as the GT3 is literally half the price of the 720s in the US, plus I can get a manual!
