Hi everyone. Needing some advice. My car arrives in mid November and I regret not getting the LED now because I love the way the black lights look on Guards Red.

Is there any way I can change them to black? Suncoast have black Xenons for the .1 but not the .2.

While I’m not 100% confident, I believe the .1 lights should work on the .2.

Did you get PDLS? I suppose they are dark grey, but they are close to black to my eye.

No. I have the stock grey Xenons. I’ve been reading that the .1 could’ve been swapped over with black Xenons and all you needed was to buy extra module for the PDLS. I was hoping I could do the same for .2.

The new GT3 has barely hit the US. Wait a bit and Suncoast should have the new parts.

why would they change that connections? that seems odd, unless there was a known issue with .1 connections?

i'm disappointed we can't get the black xenons anymore--had to pay 3k for the black LEDs on my .2. i bet you anything this was a way to get more money from OCD people like me

The .2 xenons have those 4-point DRLs, so I could see the wiring being different.

On the .1, you could swap regular PDLS with black PDLS (no black PDLS available on .2), but you couldn't swap base lights with PDLS nor LEDs with base or PDLS.

So I suspect with the .2, you're stuck with whatever you spec. Maybe if you spec PDLS then *if* Porsche ever makes a fully black PDLS, then you would be able to buy and swap those in down the line.

I don’t think Porsche ever made a black non-PDLS light on the .1, so I’d say that’s probably unlikely for the .2.

What color combo (car and wheels) did you get?
