Merci DuckieRS !

Don't know if anybody cares, but here are some pics from after the Alp tour when the car needed a spa treatment.

dam... she was a dirty gurl..

Q: did you wrap the wing? I see a considerable amount of orange peel and hoping that isn't the Porsche paint.

Great pics and gorgeous car! Mine will be similar so you have good taste. lol

Orange peel sucks but frankly I've noticed that on all Porsche products.

you should write about your car more often! entertaining, indeed, and do appreciate the candor. end of day, it's just a car albeit a very nice one. thanks for sharing.

Porsche's paint has been dog-sh*t since the 991. They changed to water based and honestly, they ALL need major correction (and holy CRAP do they swirl with even the lightest of touches) and protection immediately if you want it to look good. I'd pay double cost for another layer or a premium paint application.

You can buy 10k cars with better paint !
So no we are not going to pay more for decent paint ! Porsche should just get their sh#t together on that problem because it is what it is, a big fat disgrace to the Porsche name and what they stand for imo !

I'm with you on that! But not getting any hopes up here. Benz kills it when it comes to their paint's compared to Porsche and they aren't even THAT good...just that much better so to speak than Porsche.

Are all Porsches this way or just their sports cars? We used to have an Audi Q7 and an Audi Allroad (other VAG products) that both had incredible paint. No issues and very durable.

I was thinking about maybe personalizing my car. Someone proposed to do some matte black accents to go with the matte black that is already on the car in stock trim:
- 4.0 letters in matte black
- center stripe on the frunk (with or without Porsche letters), roof and rear wing
- with or without left and right striping with Porsche letters ? Is this overdoing it, or does this nicely balance out the center stripes ?
(or I also like the checkered side stripes that vlog lady sophia calate has on her orange .1gt3)

I generally like those personalized touches on other people's cars, but not on my own because I get bored with them real fast.

What do you guys think. Leave it like it is, or personalize it ?
