Here is a photo showing the black door sill plate. The all black interior (including stitching) is really growing on me. I think it looks fantastic!

I think the US translated door sills to door panels. Door panels in black aluminium should only be with full leather. The sills on the black car look great.

So you can get red deviated stitching but not platinum grey with touring? Hard to understand some of PAG's decisions regarding options. On the GT3 and touring variation, they should have offered black stitching at the full leather base price and then both red and platinum deviated stitching for an upcharge. Is platinum grey thread suddenly in limited supply? Ah well, I am sure there is some kind of PAG wisdom to it all.

I think you can order platinum as a deviated stitching option ($3500) on touring just like you can order black on the regular GT3. Yes, a bit odd... wish I could choose black on the GT3 without the up-charge.

I asked for that on my UK spec car and was denied, its black or red with the touring package, for whatever reason.

Just a heads up that your production and delivery date shouldn't change by selecting the Touring PKG. I've selected it and my December production remains the same (confirmed by Porsche).
