Has any put the R diffuser on an RS

Was just at Fuji 6 hours in Japan. The diffuser has been used by some Carrera cup and Gt3 amateur racers according to a Porsche Motorsport rep. He said heat needs to dissipate from trans cooler on PDK. Saw a few cup cars here with R diffuser with drilled holes under trans cooler for heat escape.
Highlight was being a passenger on R8 pace car in the rain day after the race.

I am quite displeased with the stubborn FIA Blue Blazer mentality of having a race at Fuji in October; it was essentially rained out in 2013, and F1 has encountered rain issues racing at Fuji in the past, as well.
Alas, Toyota owns the track...
I went to the bulk of the IMSA calendar this year (8 of 12 races) and the WEC round in Austin; I had the opportunity to spend the final 30 minutes of the race in the Porsche LMP1 pit garage - very special.

I was in Chicago last weekend and arranged my weekend plans to facilitate watching a 6 hour "race" from 9 PM - 3 AM local time.

can you clarify... MR confirmed it needs or does NOT need the diffusor to have the cutout?

They said it don't need it.
But as stated earlier: wonder if there is a cut out in the diffuser for the PDK 991.2 GT3.

In any case, we both have straight installation from MR without drole or cut, i believe they control PDK temperature while tracking hard the car before making this choice.
