Completely coincidentally, the day we arrived into Andermatt, we got swarmed by hundreds of car spotters as we entered the village. Our reaction was WTF!
Turns out the Super Owners Club were holding a 3 day event and had taken over the joint. I have never seen a more impressive collection of cars anywhere in the world and that includes Goodwood FOS. Suddenly, my two GT3s and M2 felt small.....although the 4.0 gathered lots of comments.
The attached photos are just a small sample.

Just asked my brother who was vacationing in Geneva at the same time. He saw your trio on the Furka!

After Timmelsjoch we head to St Anton for an overnight pit stop before driving to Stuttgart to visit the Porsche Museum...where else! It was my first time after living in Europe for 7 years.
Lost one of our three drivers along the way as they had to head back home so GT3.1 is being trucked back home across Europe.
The Museum is an impressive set up...but overall I was maybe just a little disappointed. I felt there were some gaps in their display. Interested in comments on this from others who have attended.
I was hoping that they would have a year by year display of 911s so that you could easily see the progression in design and technology. Also, a sequential display of all RS cars from 2.7 onwards would have been great to see because not all RS cars were on display.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and happy I went.
Next stop Leipzig for two days on the track.
BTW, I have no idea why some photos are not rotating correctly.

Leipzig for the weekend. A bit quieter than on previous visits with only 6 groups so we had a large amount of track time. Over 500kms in two days.
Now finally back home. 14 days. 4,800 kms. 17 mountain passes. 2 track days. 8 hotels. 4 memorable restaurants. 6 great wine bars. 5 truly impressive new wine discoveries. 3,500 euro in gas across 3 cars. 3 sets of trashed tyres. Top speed 282kph...and no speeding tickets!
Now that's what I call a great holiday!
Game over.

That's commendable Chris. Your car(s) wear(s) those dusty wheels with pride!

Timmelsjoch now requires winter tires, according to update today. I think I'm going to have Porsche install winter wheel set upon my ED GT3 in 2 weeks as precaution. No track days planned, might as well chew up their tires for a few weeks! Great pics again Chris, jealous.
