By pure coincidence, Spyder Circle just finished tier Alpine Pass tour, doing pretty much the same route as the Supercar Owners Club and your route

Also stayed at the Chedi in Andermatt.

We start from Milan to Andermatt then down to Lake Como and back to Milan. Did Simplon, Nufenen, Gotthard, Oberalp, Lukmanier, Furka, Grimsel, Susten, Julier, Maloja, Splugen, Albula, Ofen, Bernina, San Bernardino.

All in all, 4 days and 1500km.

Oh, and Porsche installed Winter tires for the Turbo S they provided for the whole trip. Wouldn't even consider that's a handicap, hit 1.2g lateral in the Turbo S through the passes.

Tim was with me on the trip too, and so is a few fellow members here.

Yes, I heard that the Spyder group was almost following in our footsteps. It's a bucket list thing to do. My favorites were the run down the Furka to Gletsch (not the upside from Realp), all of the Grimsel and Susten, parts of Nufenen, San Bernardino and all of the Sella Ronda. So much fun, especially in a group of passionate car nuts who can all drive...fast!

Which pass had the highest pucker factor? The scariest I've done is Gavia.

Just about any of them will get you going. Zero to no decent guard rails on the side, if there is any, it's just a twig.

Did the Austrian and Italian passes last year and the Swiss ones this year wit Spyder Circle, among them, my absolute favourite is the Timmelsjoch.

Hahntenjoch, cold and rain, tyre pressure dropped to 1.9 bar. It was rather slippery, no guard rail. Make a mistake and die.
