Did some more digging and it looks like these are the lines (Peter Lampke) from Emden to US-EC or US-WC ports.... I'm guessing mine may go out on the Splendid Ace vessel since it's stitting at Emden since 9/12 (for Jacksonville destination).

I kinda like how 911 engines are "ugly." The focus is obviously engineering compared to a Ferrari or an Audi R8 for example. No fancy looking intake manifolds or valve covers etc. This engine is about performance and reliability and nothing else.

The first point is accurate, the second point debatable

Surprised the plenum isn't aluminum.

Good find. If I am reading the schedule correctly and assuming no delays, my car will arrive in San Diego October 20th. Should be at my dealer within a week after that. It would put the delivery date three weeks earlier than scheduled.

Wow, just learned my car has left Germany on the Brasilia Highway and should have it before the end of October. Glad to see that Porsche wants to recoup their costs sooner.

Congrats Nick. Probably one of the first ones to arrive in Cali. Looking forward to your reviews.

Congrats Nick! Mine entered body shop on July 13th and still shows a 9/22 completion date as of yesterday. So far no better date luck for me... J

PDK I have to believe several Porsche's are on the ship. It's first stop is San Diego. The port services all of the west coast.

Agreed and I don't think there is much of a debate to say the others are not about engineering....

How much of a markup, if any, are you guys paying on your GT3? I was offered a build slot at $30k markup and I feel like that's high.

Hoping to not start a new thread.
