Default Giving thought to 2015 991.1 gt3

I never owned a Porsche let alone a gt3.
I gave a deposit for allocation about a year ago for MSRP.
And dealer said he is delivering first alocation in November.
When I ask about my spot which is third they say they don't know.

My question is should I buy a 15 gt3 CPO now.
should I be concerned about the engine.
Also if I do get a the 991.2 will I lose bad....if I bought the car for 140 today.
And then trade up.
That's of course if the dealer really gets me car.

I just wish the dealer knew if they really will get my allocation.
Iam just not 100% when they say they don't know.

All comments welcomed
Thanks.

Dude, try this: Get a CPO 2015. Park it in your garage. FULLY DETAIL the whole car, inside and out YOURSELF. Really get in there. Use q-tips on the dash vents. Spray Ozium in your A/C ducts. Take the wheels off and scrub the wheel wells. It will get rid of that "ewww icky some other person had their fat sweaty *** in the seat!" feeling. It is human nature to want something that has not been possessed by another human prior. Save yourself TENS OF THOUSANDS!!

Don't worry about the engine. There is some very good news coming. Keep an eye on the concerned owners sticky. I would buy a 991.1 GT3 today without reservation if I was in the market.

Get the 15 CPO and don't look back. Enjoy it now b/c tomorrow is never guaranteed, either is your potential .2 allocation.

Appreciate your contributions in particular re: that issue.

Can you share - privately if you prefer (just text me if easier)- with whom you spoke at PCNA?

There is more detail we can share in a few days. I wish we could share more now but cannot until we finalize the information in collaboration with PCNA and PAG.

Rob will communicate it as appropriate as he has led the charge on this.

The 991.1 GT3 is a fantastic car. As others have recommended - buy a CPO GT3 and enjoy it. Honestly it will be a good test to make sure its the car you want anyhow.

I have a .2 GT3 arriving in December and feel blessed. But, I will tell you - if I didn't have one coming I would be okay. The .1 GT3 is an amazing machine.

I've never had a car that makes me smile like a GT3 does.

Buy a CPO car and enjoy in good health. Best present you'll buy yourself.

Will be interesting to see what Sean and Rob tell us in the coming days for sure.

Pending that, I'd buy a 991.1 GT3 w/o hesitation. I loved mine and I love my RS even more. They have issues, sure, but it's a high strung track ready car so I expect that goes with the territory. The only thing limiting how hard I run my RS is my driving ability.

I never think twice about the motor except when responding to RL posts.
