I went with Fashion Grey, which still seems crazy to me given that chalk is a much cheaper color and would take 3 fewer months to arrive, but Fashion Grey speaks to me. I love the rarity and the history of it. I can't find one photo of a Fashion Grey 991.2 GT3, only a handful of 991.1 cars and a GT3RS. Also, I have a neighbor 10 houses down who is getting a chalk car in February so Fashion Grey will at least differentiate us a tad.

No CXX options, unless it is CXX to add black leather vent slats instead of painted slats (am doing the leather vent surrounds). Manual, PCCBs, FAL, LWBs, black PDLS, full leather, racing yellow deviated stitching, leather steering column, extended dash leather, satin platinum wheels, yellow belts, smoking pkg, Bose, sport chrono, ext. tank, carbon mirrors, ill. carbon sills, carbon trim, crest on console, aluminum pedals, etc.

Will take delivery in Jackson, MS because I don't want to delay delivery any longer than PTS will. May drive it to ATL and do PEC at another time.

It feels like an eternity since I got the allocation. This next 8 months is going to be BRUTAL.
Epic spec!
Sounds exactly like what I did w my GT4 (cosmetically anyways).

Thanks! I decided to not limit myself or worry about the next guy and just do what I want. I didn't feel there was a way to build the car any other way and be truly happy with the spec.

Guess I spoke to soon. Dealer called yesterday and said Porsche rejected my PTS request because my car is a September allocation and only October and later allocations are being approved for PTS.

Oh well. I still get a GT3, will save $8k in paint costs and will get the car 3 months sooner. And am getting Chalk which is very close in look to Fashion Grey.

^^^^Did you ask if you could defer your build date a month or two to hit PTS window?

Is it true that the PTS GT3 window is now back open for Q4 builds?

YES! Albeit on a first-come-first-serve basis and your production date must be October or November I believe.

See if they have a Oct or Nov build slot either assigned or unassigned. If they do and those are non-PTS they may be able switch builds in the the queue.
Oct builds cutting it close as they lock on the 25th

Love Nardo ... sorry for whomever it offends but can't imagine of a worse spec around it.

According to the Atlanta rep, there is nothing that can be done to move my build to a different slot. The allocation is an September allocation, which in itself disqualifies it from PTS with no exceptions. Evidently the window is open for October/November allocations. That said there is probably leeway in this process that is simply not being offered to me by my dealer or by the area rep for whatever reason; could be a sales quota thing, could be some sort of crazy Porsche politics that is above my head.

Either way, I feel blessed to have an allocation and thus am not too concerned with squeezing every last drop of opportunity out of it. PTS is just extra icing but doesn't make the cake for me.

My PTS build which was originally slotted for April, was pushed all the way to September earlier this month. I was told today that it was selected for production (v220) and will be done by July 20th. Maybe this is good news for others that have distant dates.
