👍. Very nice! My “collection” isn’t nearly as nice as yours. MG is a ‘73. I’m the second owner and have had it since ‘83. It’s never leaving the family. 991.1 left to make room for a Taycan.
The 997.2 is the “daily”, but the others get exercised as well (+ 240Z not in the pic)
Were you at P’tree Industrial and Ashford Dunwoody yesterday around 3 p.m.? I was on my way to Hopstix for sushi and a beer and saw a GT3RS that looked like yours.
Nice! Can you comment on why you moved out of the Cross Turismo? On a test drive, I thought the Taycan was an amazing vehicle!
I know other opinions will differ but
1. my girlfriend called the car silver surfer, it was dolomite and it just glided along the road. ride was amazing and handling was amazing. but it was too numb, I did love driving it and put ~17K miles on it within 14 months it was so convenient but numb. people used to say the Nissan GTR was like a video game..electric cars really are.
2. I'm just not ready for full electric yet, I just picked up the new iPhone and watch this week because my iPhone 12 and watch battery life was so bad was charging them 2-3 times a day. I looked at the taycan and panicked..it got 220 miles on a good day with warm temps, it dropped to 180 in the mid-atlantic winter, the planning involved was a lot. I found the stress/anxiety I had from managing the charge so I always had enough to for whatever I may need to do was not fun. and road trips take a lot of planning and the electrify America stations aren't really built out yet to go beyond major MSAs. And I just don't know what happens in 3-4 years when battery life is down to 75%, who actually buys that car? 170 mile range at best? I worried about the resale.
Full EV is great for a local car, energy efficiency is outstanding locally. The savings are probably though the roof, I'm shocked Ubers are all EV. but I needed a family car that I didn't have to worry about as much. I can tell you within 24 hrs the range anxiety was gone and its great (though I haven't done my first fill up yet in the turbo gt)

Thanks for your input! Range anxiety is for sure a very real concern! I'm hoping the next iteration of the Taycan will have more range (and by then a better charging network as well)!
Patiently (or not so patiently if you ask my wife) waiting for my production schedule notification email.
Did you go with the moonroof and tailgate option? What is your production date?
Production date is the week of 11/7. Hope to take delivery before the end of the year. Moonroof and tailgate, I think every option box was checked, even the rear safe and a block heater.
