Default Jeep business model

I think the solution is for Porsche to operate like Jeep. They have every color in every truck, in stock, 2-4 door, soft top, stick- auto, etc. All special editions and if you want a special color than that is only 6-8 weeks away. That way everybody could be happy and instead of the "Jeepwave" have a "Porschewave".
While many seem unhappy Porsche is the most profitable car company in the world for many reasons.

If this were the case and GT3s had the depreciation of turbos, would everyone still be lining up? For some, the economics wouldn't work if these cars had normal depreciation.

I'm at MSRP for a PTS .2 (waiting for approval) with an RS to trade. I guess my RS is my admin but that's fine with me.

Interestingly enough Jeep Wranglers have the highest resale of any traditional vehicle.

MSRP, PTS and no trade. Haven't spoken to my dealer in a week as I've been traveling so not sure of the status right now. Hopefully it hasn't locked as I don't remember the options I picked.

I am still waiting for my allocation but it will be MSRP or I am out. Worst thing happened to me when I was shopping for the Nissan GTR. The dealer called me and told me that they will auction their new GTR and the bidding starts 20K above MSRP. As any normal gear head guy responded, Go To Hell and bring your car with you.

Plano. I live 3-4 miles away from PP but stuck with Plano and they came around.

It's a texas dealer sadly....

So we are turning into California.....I would say there are more in this state that I would recommend, than not however.

I would recommend: PP, Autobahn and PNH.

Glad to hear that, you are a good customer that desires a GT3 at MSRP.

Yup, PP and PNH are definitely in the good guy dealer category.

Why would you trade that stunning RS for a GT3.2? I've seen it in person and its a beauty.

1- MSRP here
They called me and said 25k over, not going back to that dealer again!

Porsche of Plano- $25,000 over for some and MSRP for others. Yeah, that's going to end well.

Martin, do me a favor and stop promoting PP. After I get my RS, and fall back to the bottom of the list for my next one, I don't want 30 guys ahead of me!

In all seriousness, it's sad that they are increasingly in the minority when it comes to dealer sales practices.
