991.2 GT3 RS

Porsche seems to believe you can have your cake and eat it too — that a road car with too few road manners and only track prowess is a failure in execution — and that road comfort should not obviate track capability. Turbo S is proof.
I don’t see them building something more hardcore. When have they ever? They’ll just give it more tech or adjustability.

They could do it "easy" for them self:
Cabin: All alcantara, lightweight doors, less insulation etc.
Chassi: Just copy the Manthey Setup and combine it with the GT2RS parts.
But I agree: They make them better and better. And to be fair: The GT3RS is not bad - it just could be slightly better.

exactly my thoughts.
on the front aero, I think I solved it with more rake, lowering the nose but not the rear.
you need 19” wheels to make it work without rubbing. Car is very neutral now.
im at max wing, max bar front and rear and it seems to work.
turbos will be faster, but for now I like turbo cars just for on the street and the 4.0 can still give fight to all other street / track cars..
found here a good setup as well...car sitting quite low and cambered (3°F 2.7R) but it's quick and balanced with Trofeo's

Ok so consensus recipe:
HOW TO BAKE THE PERFECT RS
Easier to DIY
Easier to change pads (see above)
Way more spartan interior
Wings and things for downforce
Adjustable ABS/ Bias (adds money but awesome)
Stripped of all sound deadening (go deaf, smile at wife no idea what she is saying)
Exhaust that can alternatively pass sound at hippie tracks or rip 104dB for Buttonwillow
Harness bar comes with it
Harnesses come with it
Thin fenders, bumpers and hood/deck.
Super lightweight (ac yes but no other comforts necessary)
Lightweight rear glass-- plastic
Issues:
Cost > current escalation due to increased Motorsport content (bars, harnesses, abs, brake Bias, Ecu remap: Wet, Mist, Dry, Qualify maps)
Running costs:
PFC cup rotors are heaps cheaper than pccb but you will roast them every few months.
What will engine life be?
Hardcore hub/axles have to be replaced regularly
Same with suspension components: revalving shocks every 3k Miles etc
I do not see cockpit adjustable bars ever happening on a street car.

Why not buying a Cup and a T?

My ideal RS is fresh warranty, lighter, more HP, CS in a box, 19" wheels, Factory track setup manual.
I want all the luxury crap that comes on a AMG GTR standard because the track is a couple of hours' drive from home.
10% higher price for the Porsche compared to a AMG GTR, because more track proven than AMG GTR.

I don’t see how this more hardcore car gets past the lawyers. They had them pull the mounting plates for the roll bar for the US, and now we’re going to get cockpit adjustable brake bias?
True homologation cars used to be exactly that. The 993 GT2 was very hardcore. And awesome for it.
