One of the most sensible lists Ive seen.

Still unsure why there is such a distaste for create comforts in a car - I still have the stance that if people want a "street cup" or Cup parts on a street car, they should take a Cup on the street and see how much fun it is/would be. Having taken a 997 Cup on a public road, I can say it is the furthest thing from enjoyable. Humorous, yes - fun, not per say.

I agree. McLaren is doing a lot of good things right now. Their cars have creature comforts and are sporty at the same time. The RS needs a similar interior to the 675lt, alcantara and cf.

Exactly. We can always add a more hardcore track suspension (like the Bilstein Clubsport).

God hate these stupid CL wheels

Speaking of which, a quick question. So, I bought the Irwin clamp for the brake pedal to keep the front wheels from spinning when turning the center nut. But, does that really let me change my wheels without a helper? Don't I also need someone to hold the steering wheel straight to keep the front wheels from steering when applying torque (and slamming the long wrench into the body work)?

Nah Grant. It doesn't really turn with much force. I usually use my foot or leg to give it just a little resistance.

I've done the CL wheel changes myself a number of times with the Irwin clamp. I just have to be careful when torquing the front wheels to make sure I don't rotate them left/right.

Doesn't the steering lock solve that problem?

I didn't notice the steering locking (even with key removed) - does it on yours?
