Article later refers to manual in what would appear to be the same silver car referenced. So ... manual dual mass flywheel .2 quieter than the 997 '3?
I would assume PDK noises will be same/virtually same as .1 '3.

We need to do you a favor and post pictures of existing cars that have painted interior trim in combination with plain bright colors, namely racing yellow and guards red. The photos I remember to have seen do not make it look great when the leather is black.
I also recommend that if you are into this kind of options that you install the unity plugin for your browser so that you can also use the 3D view.
Remember that you can change the trim strips in the front but not those in the doors. The door trim is part of the door panel and not sold separately by Porsche.
Finally, the instrument cluster colors never match the exterior color of the same name. There will be a red-vs-red clash between the cluster and the trim. ETA: oh and the situation was better in 991.1 times where you could always get the middle console frame in leather, no matter what other trim you picked.

I imagine CXX options will not be available for the early PDK European deliveries so you guys stateside with the later summer deliveries might be able to enjoy that no matter what transmission you choose...heres hoping on CXX for those of us who went manual in Europe with deliveries later in the year...

At least in the builder it looks a lot more black and less anthracite.

2 aluminum choices. The original one comes std. The darker one is the same as the newer Porsches cars (my wifes Macan GTS), and blends well with the color scheme. It does tend to show dry skin when rubbed.

The GT4 also does this subtly to a degree (most obviously it keeps revs from falling too far if the driver lifts too much on upshifting with Sport button on).
There is no mechanical connection between the gas pedal and the engine - just an electronic potentiometer which sends your intent to the computer which can then modify your instructions to the throttle butterfly...

I hope it's the same! The black is really nice!

So it will have rev matching both on up shifts and down shifts.
Can't wait to try it. Must feel weird in the beginning to keep your foot to the floor and press the clutch.
Not sure it's a habit I want to create when driving other MT as well.
Oh well. Just wait and see.
