Left turn from 27th onto Gillum, lost control, spins across traffic, jumps curb and ends up in the side of Hodes Plumbing Supply.

This is something a child would do. Unbelievable amount of liberty to take with someone else's $250k car.

I'm usually a "two sides to every story" kind of guy, but there really is no rationalization for turning off TC and flooring it in traffic. So stupid.

And I'm glad the idiot's teenage son wasn't driving. What a nightmare claim that would be.

They must have hit the side of this building, the plumbing supply place. It is close to the road.

I must say GT Silver with the yellow PCCB's has to be the hottest look.

Imagine the $$$. Carbon fiber front hood and both front fenders. No surprise at the cost to fix it.

Ccap,

I'm in Leawood. I would love to chat about your fund. How can we get into contact? Sorry to hear about your car ordeal.

Wow... definitely great investigative work. Hope this gets sorted out to your satisfaction and that this will be in the rear view mirror when you are enjoying your replacement

Based on Google street view, the curb appears to by very low. There's a good size rock on the grass that could do some damage.

I went to school with the Hodes's and friends with the owner.

So it looks the wreck happened at around 4pm, but earlier around 12:45pm he was seen launching it from a stoplight.

Wow. He should seriously be arrested for this and severely ticketed and sued. I can't see how anyone would ever take their car to him for service again. Unbelievable. Something tells me he'll be changing oil at a Hyundai dealership soon.

It is good to have people in the area that know people that know people.
The Kansas City is a very small community.
