We basically did a very good race. Only problem was that I destroyed my in-ears but luckily I had one reserve set.
I was hit lightly by a Cayman when exiting Hocheichen - I guess he was in a hurry. Just a bump.
After the 6 hours of racing we finished at P3 and was very pleased with that.
The P4 in our class was two laps behind and we where on the same lap as the winner. Looks like we are getting better and better. It takes time though. A lot of it.
We ended up P65 of 121 in total which is very good.
Next race is a 12 hour race split on two days with parc fermé inbetween the two 6h-races. You start in the same position day 2 as you had at the end of day 1.
This is a new concept. If it is as warm as it was this weekend it is going to be tough...
10-11 of September.

A 1970T upgraded to a 1973 RSR Hot Rod.
1988 Carerra 3.2 engine converted to a 3.4 liter. Approx 270hp.
Front and rear suspension and brakes are 1986 Turbo. Some Tarett parts.
It's got a brake booster (1970 does not).
No heat or ac. Just pure.
Interior is comfy with sound deadening etc.
Exhaust is from Cargraphic, stainless with valves.
Totally amazing sound! Love it.
Very fun to drive! I've been trying to sort out weird things the previous owner and builder has done to the car and I hope it sorted soon.
I'm about to do a base setup of the cars geometry as it is totally off. Still the car actually goes straight.
It is supposed to be a "ice cream car" but it turned out to be super fun on track.
Maybe it can do both :-)

Freaking awesome! Try to grab Misha C and take him for a lap, so we also can enjoy the car!

Had a good day today. 10 laps of which 9 was good and on the last one the engine died on the way to Breidsheid. Luckily I could exit the track in Breidsheid. Didn't have any tools with me so I couldn't diagnose the problem.
Got towed back to my garage by my good friend Magnus.
Definitely fun to drive even though it isn't very fast. You definitely get the feeling that if you don't treat the car right it will do bad things to you. Not as forgiving when it comes to driver input errors as the 997 or the 991.
I hope to locate and fix the fault tomorrow.
