This last ED for my 3RS, I dropped it off on Sept 28, arrived at dealer on Nov 23. I'm in Midwest though.

Thanks for dropping by Zolder !!
My pleasure. 'Ring seems to be fully booked 20/05, but I'll try to come over for a Tourist drive session. More 'chapters' to be written!

There’s a Schnelle Schwaben event at the ring on the 21st - could try that. I’ll be joining in the fun for both

10 + hours. AMS to ATL via Ohio.
But we still had severe turbulence as we make our way around the storms. Makes sense.
I’ll take Porsche buckets anytime for 10 hours over a delta seat.

Bouncing on final approach, couple more ours to Palm Beach...

991.1RS VS 991.2RS
2015 VS 2019
Purple vs Green
Both in the heaviest spec.

Not a true comparison of course but green is a lot faster then purple.
Both fresh from the factory, bone stock, except pads.
Track conditions can change a lot, maybe I drive a little different..

But 100% sure the green is faster at all tracks, save for Sebring perhaps..
A lot is due to stiffer springs and dampers, feels very the same as purple with Manthey setup.
Not much advantage to motor, maybe the extra RPM but doubt it at Spa.
N2 tires, RWS calibration? Is the steering rack quicker or is it just that the steering wheel is a little smaller?
How much weight is saved by gorilla glass and mouse fur instead of Alcantara in the back?
I think a lot of it is aero, the faster the corner the better it feels.

Purple for sure better on street, green better on track.
On any road less then perfect, I have been looking down if the suspension button was pushed in green.

Noticed Green is a few mpg up in the corners....also a lot faster (6mph) going into Eau Rouge and coming out.

Great videos and thread. Thanks for sharing and wow you are a great driver and truly enjoying these cars the way they were meant to be owned (not flipped). Congrats and thanks.
