Joe - those look great mounted. I'm anxious to put mine on, but I can't seem to wear out my rear rotors!

Lol. It will take quite some time to wear out the rear rotors. Mine were still fine after well over 2000 track miles, but I installed them for symmetry and to preserve the oem ones for when it comes time to sell the car

I'm still on my OEM rear rotors at 13,500 miles, including about 4500 track miles! They have cracking, but it's growing slowly.

Please post your pccb experience in this thread. I think it will open a lot of eyes:

As far as slicks go, you'll need to downsize to 19" wheels which involves some modification to make them fit. There are a few threads on that subject. Rumors are that r7 will be coming in 20" sizes next year.

Done .....

What mods ..I know I had to cut down the rear rotor protective plate 1/2" on the turbo s ...to get a Rennen 20" track rim !!

The r7 not one I've heard of here in uk ? Who makes these ? Sorry to pick your brains

Just installed a new set of AP Racing rotors + Ferodo DS1.11 pads front and rear, and they felt great at Thunderhill on Monday! The friction coefficient is noticeably higher than stock, so it took much less pedal pressure to get the same braking force. They were very consistent throughout the entire session.

Thanks to Clark @ Apex Performance for the great price on the package and the fantastic service on tracking the order progress while Essex got these things made!

Pics of the setup after 1 day of track time below:

Nice! I tried out my setup with full AP rotors at Laguna this past weekend. I didn't expect a difference with only the rear rotors being changed, but the car felt better under braking than what I remember. Might be just in my head.
