I am always hesitant to try anything out of the ordinary with a hard to come by car.

My brief search led me to conclude wrapping is more expensive unless you plan to wrap the car (clear) anyway. I don't. Moreover, it doesn't last indefinitely so you have to re-wrap from time to time. (To some, that's a plus)

Really hoping for PTS w/ either a Sep or Mar build so I can get a Euro delivery.

Did he say anything about additional allocations?

My dealer has no additional allocations as of yet and they have heard nothing. Not anticipating anything soon.

Just drive your other car. Seems rather simple.

in my case how do you suggest i get into my parking garage? or out? fork lift? tip the guys to carry it over the curb? over-inflate the tires? take the front bumper off?

if i always took my other car because i cant even get in or out of my home garage without the RS lift then whats the point? there is none, wouldn't buy the car

Thanks again Porsche for offering the lift, its rather simple to offer, spec, and use.
agreed 100%
Lift isn't for everyone, but I'm sure it makes everyones life easier.

+1

This is why I always order lift if it's available.

I can't imagine life w/o the lift. There are so many hazards unforeseen that without the lift your screwed. It's not just about the lip...it's about the expensive front bumper that can be damaged...

Lift handles that unexpected.

I agree, the front lift is a must have.

And with the RS, you can use the lift to level the car out and do some 4 wheeling!

I would store it out of Manhattan in Bedford if I still lived in Manhattan. No fun driving it in Manhattan and drive your DD out to Bedford or catch a train. Fun for the wife and kids out there too while you go enjoy the RS.
