My Car as All were released on Friday. Very glad all cars released and I asked What was the Quality control hold and the dealer had no idea as Porsche did not give out that information which is NOT COOL to do to its customers. Lots of Speculation but no real answer. Does anyone really know the truth to this? I just checked and the ship is in Port Hueneme Oxnard and then heading back down the coast to the San Diego port where it will be unloaded. I did not know the ship was going to Port Hueneme then back to San Diego. Hopefully it will get to the dealer soon .

The irony is that i don't think a single car was officially delayed if you go by the build sheets and production schedule.
My car was officially supposed to be in inventory in Jan 10 and I got it on 12/19.
I assume they do build in some level of buffer for stuff like this. In the end the entire thing was a non issue. But we live in a world where forums and social media and ship tracking allow us to see every movement of the car so our expectations (mine included) are altered and perhaps even unreasonable.
Did anyone's car get delayed past the original inventory date? If not we really have nothing to complain about.

My MB Weissach RS was schedule for delivery on 1/8/19. Held at San Diego port for quality control issues. Still don’t know what the issues was/is, but my dealer called yesterday and said the car will be realeased and available on 1/18/19. My dealer said he will know what the issue was when the car arrives. Much better than April delivery.

Touring delivered today. All GT cars for the dealership from the port JAX came on the same transport.
Non GT vehicles had already been delivered by last week.

Mine was on hold then PCNA and dealer said it was off hold. Expected transport to dealer and late december pick up or early january. got call today the car was put on "administrative" hold and who knows when it will be released. seems to be affecting some of many types of Porsche non GT cars as well. more than a little frustrating. anyone else? Mine was on Bangkok landed Houston a while ago GT3RS WP.
