mclaren and gtr , now they are very different cars . What are you preferring to drive at the moment ?

Good thing there is something for everyone.
Some want a German sports car.
Some want a German muscle car.

^^^^ What he said^^^^

I think the GT/GT-R long / low slung hood will not age well. In my view, and in the view of most of the local Ferrari guys (yes, they are also biased), it already looks dated and somewhat kitschy. The .2 GT3 obviously draws from more classic 911 lines that have aged well and will likely to continue to age well.

I also have to say that if you had ordered a PDK .2 GT3 you might have felt a bit differently. The manuals are awesome and give a superior/connected feel to the road. That said, the ability to hammer through lightning fast gear changes on full throttle all the way to 9k is just spectacular. You really don't fret much over "lost torque" when owning and driving the hell out of a PDK. You simply don't have time to notice it. The car just performs brilliantly.

Glad you are enjoying your new car. To each their own and good luck.

Anyone who uses the term "Dumped my GT3" is really better off with some other car, any other car.

First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title (on the GT3 forum, mind you) was... looks like someone needs some attention.

True. Why get rid of it 10 months ago and then write about it on the GT3 forum. I honestly don’t really care becisuse both are fun cars.

The gt3 is such a great riding car that I could drive as a daily, which is a testament to what spectacular performance Porsche can extract.

that being said I daily a M6gc with a Dinan Stage 2 kit coming close 700hp and a **** ton of torque. So I get the best of both worlds. If it was me I would have looked into a beefy v8tt DD, like an amg Benz.

Jaguar must be following this thread on RL, they already have an old E-Type Electric car in the works. So now you get the clown shoe looks + stupid big electric torque + cigarette lighter V8 sound (b/c its all about the rumble!). Check and Mate AMG GT R.

The GTR is at least much better with the wing and the wider bodywork than the standard wingless GT/GTS, those look like ****** on wheels.

Glad you are happy with the GT-R.

Top Gear seems to like the engine a bit.
