^Thanks for all the nice comments guys!

So today has been on my calendar for a long time!

The day started early with an 8:00 AM pickup and straight to the delivery center:

Because of the gang from Germany, the track was busy today. So I went out first thing- ugh! still groggy from a late night out, but managed to put a few quick laps in. I was surprised that the instructor offered no comments - not really instructing. My wife commented that they probably avoid saying anything so as not to criticize on your special day! We did the normal short course but it's big enough to stretch the legs of the GT3 and after a few fast laps I pulled in and made sure my wife took a few too. She really didn't want to, but I forced her to, and in the end she really enjoyed it!

Finally the delivery! The color is just amazing- couldn't get over how bright it is, lava stitching looks fine (was slightly worried) and unless you know looks like a match for the exterior:

My delivery specialists recommend Jagermeister stickers, LOL!

This is the only interior picture so far!

We parked the car outside just in time for all my German friends to show up- happy to say they approved! We went on the factory tour before lunch which was interesting since our Macan was built there. All I can say is there is an incredible amount of automation! Right after the tour we lined all the cars up for some pictures:

Had a great lunch in the upstairs dining hall and looked at the cars in the Museum.

We completed the day spending far too much money for the custom Rimowa luggage that fits perfectly in the frunk as well as some other bits and bobbles. Finally time to drive it out the gates... straight to the film installer where it will get PPF installed tomorrow and part day Thursday-

I miss it already!!

Haha! One more "delivered" need to update the list!

July last year I rec'd my allocation! I am pleased to hear that even in Germany it is very difficult to get your PTS order in, and the wait is equally long.

If I would've gone 'orange' instead of 'green' I would've chosen the same and be equally happy. Viel Spaß!

I must say, Pastel Orange looks fantastic. The instructor likely didn't say anything because he didn't HAVE to. More likely, he was impressed.

Congrats! Awesome color. Can you elaborate on the PPF? I assume you’re getting done there before the track days and driving trip. My questions:

* is PPF allowed during ED? I read somewhere that no mods to the car..
* are you concerned about the warranty work if needed later after you return to the stateside?
* suntek or expel?

Those aren't delivery vehicles- Leipzig is available for special events so my new friends from Germany rented the track and came for the day with their cars- many different liveries and paint, made for a cool group. Stopped everyone dead in their tracks at the PEC, including the people working there.

Haha, no could have said a lot after I rode with him there was a lot of speed left in a couple of the corners! Good fun though, the fact they let you jump in and just go for it and say nothing is impressive!

It's Xpel no worries about warranty, Xpel warrants the film and any damage caused by it. For a short time Porsche would install the PPF before your delivery for a fair price, but the contractor didn't produce high quality installs. Now your choice is to do it immediately after delivery like I am doing. I don't like that I can't get anything fixed that might go wrong with the installation when I get home, but at the same time I'm protected for my ED.

Marvelous color, Congrats!!

Thank you for sharing your experience about PPF, I have the exact same question. If not doing ED, I guess it makes more send to do it after you take delivery.

Cheers and enjoy!

Absolutely sick color. Best pts color I’ve seen, by a wide margin. Enjoy.
