A few things. I was at PCA this weekend and it was very nice to have the windows up again on a 90 degree day. Thanks Peter, Amy, Gavin, and everyone else.
(This is probably better in the DE day section but since I started it here..)
To follow up on our top speed notes a little ago about the GT3 RS top speed. I said I would post some video to show the speeds since I hit 160 on the back straight and 138 in Bishops. After making sure the GPS speed is what the Track App uses, and trying to figure out what I was doing I found that while I was going all out for speed, I was slower because of it. I've posted one video of a 159 on the back straight and the 137/138 in Bishops. But what you'll find in breaking so late I'm sloppy through the turns and therefore slower coming out. This was a good lesson for me and I was faster this weekend while being 'slower'. Sorry for stating the obvious for you pros but I have to see it to believe it and find it fun to still be learning!
Higher top speed but sloppy;
Lower top speed = faster lap
Hope that worked for the videos.

^^ It means your car is a lot faster then mine.
I can get to those speeds exactly once LOL..
Something must be wrong, no?
This is 4 seconds faster but my speeds are lower everywhere. Cold winter air and look at my RPM and speeds?

This is the type of stuff I love to see and read about on Rennlist. Great driving by both. Interesting on some speed diffs..would be cool to see data over lays of you guys to see who brakes where and how fast brake application is and how brake release between you 2 is different.

Late to the party, just quickly reiterating what everyone else has been saying. Fantastic day with windows closed. Had to adjust my vents because my hands were getting too cold :-). First time at Sebring with "new" car. Very fast and easy to drive, although it is finally time to replace the stock pads as it did feel a little spongy after a few laps without any bite so I overshot the corner on more than one occasion, although not as bad as Peter going into 7.
Hopefully a trend has been set with the closed windows and the other clubs slowly but surely will adapt and implement.

Perhaps start with your own track days and Chin?
Around here customers are inquiring if they can drive windows up, before signing up.
PCA is reviewing the option as they should know Porsche’s are designed to crash windows up.

Planning on going to Alabama in November for PBOC weekend at Barber. Do you guys know of anyone/any place in south FL I could rent a trailer from? Thanks!
