The 4.2 is only dreamed up by members here. They think if aftermarket can bore the engine out to 4.2L then it must be easy for the factory to do it.
They forgot one important details, tuners don't have to warranty the car for 4 years and don't have to certified it for the whole world.
Porsche never ever considered a 4.2L capacity for their engines ever, but some people just don't seem to listen.

Outgoing GT3 R is dominating early stages of Nürburgring 24, but that’s with a full court press from the factory
