Brushed black Al with GT Silver deviated stiching

2.5 years ago, when I ordered my 981 CGTS, "brushed black Al" was a new trim option for MY16 - hadn't been available before (at least in 981). I thought it would work nicely with the white dials I had already decided upon. The standard trim in the Touring is the same "brushed black Al" as the option for the 981. I went with that trim in the Touring and also white dials again. Why change a winning concept?
Nice! Any more pics of your GT Silver deviated stitching? Planning on getting that and haven't seen any good pics of it yet. Thanks.

Also, any pics of the whole interior that show the deviated stitching?

Enjoy in good health!

Nice cars, however I don‘t understand why one needs a stealth Touring pack, when then one has to put “GT3” in big letters on the car.

Chris and Erik, thanks for the pics of the black anodized aluminum interior standard Touring trim.

On to another question, this time about exterior trim. Anyone order the standard Touring light aluminum exterior trim and hate it? That’s my fear. The gap is more noticeable (relative to the black trim) around the rear window and it’s the same trim used on every other Porsche. To change to black you have to replace rear windows so there’s no easy fix. But the light aluminum trim seems to work really well on the Touring, especially on darker colors.

Very, very nice (Guards Red?). I like the sticker on the side and would probably stop there.

here’s another perscpective. I chose Touring because I liked how it looked. Period. I didn’t choose it because it looked stealth (although I did see that as a possible benefit). I just preferred the look over one with wing. And I love the wing look as well, just liked the touring 2% better).

Yes guards red.

I understand the stripes and graphics is not everyones taste. I wanted to play around with it. The graphics and stripes can be removed in 5 minutes by anyone who doesn't like them.

I now understand your point of view.
I just like the touring for being a very normal looking beautiful car with that phantastic chassis, engine and gearbox. Very much like the 964RS, where the Basis version is the nice one, very normal looking, yet a bery special car, light, nimble and no obvious race car things visible.
