The configurator misses some leather bits. Most notably the extended dash in leather.

Default LED v. Bi-Xenon

Has anyone passed on the LED's and gone with the Bi-Xenons for aesthetic reasons? The round main lamp of the Bi-Xenon seems to be more consistent with the round bug eye headlight of the 911 v. the twin sideways ovals of the LEDs. Those of you who have seen both in person, what'd think? Clearly the LED's have functional differences, but I wonder how often night cruising will be in the cards for most of these machines.

Yes, no LED, no PDLS, and went with standard wheels. In the US the LEDs are neutered so they are no brighter than xenons and they weigh more, but mainly it was (1) my conviction that headlights that move will fail at some point in my ownership horizon (2) I like the clear one headlight look (3) cost.

I'm ten days away from build lock, so going through the final fine tuning on the specs.

I got LED because it will last longer than Xenon.
But, I agree that aesthetically single looks better than double LEDs within a circle.

I got simple bi-xenon PDLS, they look good with the black Touring package. The light is very good however not as good as on my BMW with adaptive LEDs but that one is purely phantastic.
Am not planning to drive the GT3 in the rain or mich at night, therefore the very good PDLS is sufficient - for me at least - and saved aroud 2.000€

i actually went for LEDs for aesthetic reasons and the fact that the low beams are brighter, with a better pattern (per Nick Murray’s video on YouTube). To me the single light headlights look really large and for some reason the twin lights filling the housing make them appear smaller and more modern. I stared at the, for hours, in person, online, silver, black, and compared them to the xenons on my 997 turbo - I won’t say it was an easy choice, but I honestly thought the Xenons look awkward the 991 with all of the unused housing space (Guessing fitting leds is a possible reason the housing is so large). They also look dated, which can be a good thing, but didn’t work for me with the aggressive look of the front bumper. I wasn’t originally interested in spending the additional $2k, but would have regretted not and am not about to penny pinch a car of this cost. As far as lighter weight - I couldn’t feel a 1.2% weight loss on my 1000cc race bike subframe. I would challenge anyone to feel or notice the .005% weight difference these lights add to a GT3. Even if this was repeatablly measureable on a track (human error would cause more variables), it’s a car to enjoy, not a cup car to race - especially a touring. You know what they say about opinions, Take it for what it’s worth.

I can't think of any option more important than seat comfort for intended use. If not going with buckets for track or other hard driving, worth every penny to get the 18 ways to ensure best seat fit. If cost is an issue, better to spend the money on best possible seats than a bit extra leather.

Went with standard lights with standard wheels as the lights have some black shading under the light for tying in with the front of the car....glad to have saved the bucks.....

I went with standard bi-xenon headlights and standard wheels. I prefer the look, plus saved $ vs LEDs. Still spent over $47k in options

So, some more pics of my car. I am really super happy with how it turned out. Especially with the deviated stiching and white dials. I have only driven 80 km but already pleasantly surprised about a lot of things. Car is now at detailer for paint correction and full XPEL wrap. Picking up on Friday. Will be like a second delivery...

Yes, and added the leather seatbacks and heating. They are supportive, comfortable, fit well with the Touring ethos, and most importantly allow easy access behind the seats for sticks and luggage.
