One thing the pictures make clear the GT3 does look pretty tame next to the 3RS; Henry from Carfection stated "the GT3 looks shy and retiring" when compared to the 3RS and it's aggressive wing.

Are you going to pony up within PCCP, that gives the ability to select what wheels. Wheels could take 20 minuets a piece to clean. Oh so not fun,

Yeah, I want to try out PCCBs on a 991 because the last car that had them was my 997.2RS and the wheels always looked clean. If white gold wheels don't cost an arm and a leg then I might go in that direction.

White gold is on the GT2RS only.
Looks better then Aurum on some colors.

Congrats Chris!

Could you maybe do the same sound test you did on your GT3 and GT3T on the GT3RS?

Generation III PCCB's have come a long way. I doubt your older RS's performed nearly as well as these new PCCB. I change out brake fluid every year. Motul 600/650 or Endless brake fluids, equals zero brake fade.

So I went to look an hour ago at a Miami Blue with black wheels. Here it is. I think I would do black wheels because the side RS logo is black and it connects pretty well. Silver is too bright with the black bits. Though I have silver on my UV and I did the RS logo in silver and it looks great.

My question is whether you do yellow seat belts and yellow stitching on the inside to go with the PCCB calipers. This car had yellow seatbelts which was cool but standard gray stitching which looked mismatched.

My .2 3 is MB with platinum stitching, yellow belts and cage to match the PCCB's and I used yellow gaffring tape on my steering wheel center marker. I'll be doing the same color on my .2 rs with the same cage, belts, yellow door pulls from Suncoast and I will also be doing yellow stitching this time around. These pics should give you a good idea of the platinum stitching with yellow bits throughout.

For RS, maybe gold wheels, mirrors, plates script and decals.
like the 997’s. Maybe white/gold. Would work on all colors except yellow for me.

@RobbieRob, two questions: are you happy with white dials and did you do 18 way seats or Buckets in your .2RS?

I like the white gauges but not a must option for me, I won't be getting them in the RS since I'm going to try and keep everything black and yellow inside, I'm also doing without the Bose this time, I feel it is a total waste and not that much better than the stock system(better but not that much). I'm keeping my build quite simple compared to all the extra items I went with on my 3($187 sticker), now that I had all the extra bits I feel like I don't notice them in the car or need them.

I know I will get crushed on here for this but I went with the 18 ways(wish the 4 ways were available). The reasoning is that I actually drive my cars more on the street than I do on the track and the comfort and accessibility to the rear to throw an overnight bag in the back is so much easier. I probably only track 5 or 6 times a year and if I decide to track more in the future I will purchase a Sparco or some other brand race seat for my needs.

One thing is for certain that MB GT3 is pretty cool looking.

Thank You, appreciate the compliment. I almost don't want to get rid of it but I could not turn down the opportunity for the RS.

Don't forget you have the option of Miami Blue seat belts too, and you could also paint your calipers (not by Porsche) Miami Blue as well. Not doing yellow stitching will save you thousands as a bonus.
