Giant reflectors in the middle of the bumper instead of near the bottom crease

Tried posting an awesome idle close up of a white one but it’s been taken down.

My LG RS was due in May but was told today that all WP cars have been delayed due to production issues with the titanium roll cage. New delivery date unknown. So changed my order to a LG non-WP car but with Clubsport package in an effort to try and get my delivery back on track, or as close as possible, as I have my annual European road trip in June thru the Alps and desperately want to take this car along.

Shame. PAG seems to have constant supplier issues last several years for parts like this. Seats, wheels now cage. Trying to wring too much blood from the stone.

Interesting. I placed my order for LG and WP for Euro Delivery in September, but was told things may be shifting and unable to set a firm date. In USA we don't get Ti cage, so unsure why this would effect my build. I'll have to inquire on Monday if WP is delaying my ED plans. I too am planning my annual fall European road trip through the Alps!

At this point, I don't think anyone should rely on any build dates regardless of what you ordered. My car just was delayed by one week and I expect additional delays. European auto sites are claiming that the factory will be closed for the entire month of August and September. Yet, many of us have been given build dates in August and September.

The factory is always closed in late August. That’s why the August builds don’t finish until Sept.

I have a 7 September build date. I knew about the August shutdown but how firm is the September closure?

Addendum: just obtained a GT3-RS allocation with a build date of 27 July

FWIW, my initial build completion date was September 7th and last week it was moved to September 14th. My view is if Porsche is planning to shut the factory down for the entire month of September, why update my build date to show it’s delayed for one week? If there is a shutdown in September it may be only for cars being built for the EU ( new emissions standards) But who knows? I anticipate another update delaying my production even more.

Btw, normally the factory doesn’t shutdown for the entire month of August.

I am a long term Rennlist reader and Porsche owner but this is my first post so please be kind :-)

I have been lucky enough to get an allocation for a September build of a .2 GT3 RS and have been down to the dealership and put in my order but have a few days to make any last minute changes and was hoping for some insight on things i might have missed. I am not planning to track the car, don't care that much about resale value (beyond the normal level of concern that i don't build something that i cant get rid of) but would really appreciate any comments

I have also been given the potential opportunity to go and see the car being built (not a delivery but more of a tour) and wondered if anyone has done it and if it is as cool as it sounds
