Most dealers should be willing to sit down and make a deal at this point if you are a serious buyer. I'd just ignore the listing price altogether - find a car you like, offer what you think it's worth - it seems like it works out after a few tries.

No way. Not at Stevens Creek. They will sit on those things for an eternity with ADMs before they sell a floored car at sticker. The minute Stevens Creek sells one at sticker, we’ll all know the sports car market apocalypse is upon us.

Porsche Irvine has at least 3-4 GT3RS sitting on their floor. Some are new some used. Not sure if they are flipped used cars, Last I checked, they also had a 2016 RS, CPO car for $169k with about 4-5k miles if not mistaken. It’s gone.
Even though this dealers is a stealer, I think one can hustle on some of the cars they have to get a good deal given the number of cars they are sitting on. This is a larger Autonation owned dealer, so they will let go of stuff sitting their for too long. At least that 16’ RS they had was not a bad deal.

it really depends on the dealer and the car. some dealers with some cars, sure. but the more limited and desirable cars, a lot of dealers will be patient. especially now that warm weather is here.

Yup, some stealers are more stubborn than others. You know which ones are very quickly.

Agreed - all I'm trying to say is people shouldn't be discouraged by outrageous listing prices. Listing prices for these GT cars should be ignored in my opinion. Some are definitely willing to deal at reasonable prices, or at least that's what I've found.

agree listing prices don't matter
actually I think dealers lose business by listing cars way above what they are willing to sell them for , and that will discourage some customers from calling
and I am talking across all brands
recently I picked up an M3 CS , by the way a great car , and every dealer I called listed them for sticker, and after couple of minutes they were discounting 15-20 k off

Yeah I get that. I sold my GT3RS after I bought the GT2RS and although I made the right decision, I would have liked to have kept the GT3RS as well. I may look for another one after a while.

Will be getting over the 1,000 mile mark on the GT3RS when I drive up to Buttonwillow on Tuesday to pop the track cherry on the car.
