Hi Mike!

On the valved exhaust, where does it pull vacuum on a car with no PSE? Does it have the ability to start in both loud and normal mode?

Hello! You will pull from a check valve as seen in our instructions here during the valve controller installation process. The car will start with valves open as the default setting on the valves and requires a button press to close the valves. The valves are default open as some people ultimately decide to never wire up the valve controller and leave the valves always open, and it's also better to have them "fail" into valves open mode should a vacuum line pop or melt off so that you don't get burdened during a track day.
