LED spars
Its probably been posted here before but in case not, I just installed my new LED spars on my 06 CS. Super easy, plug and play install. I think it makes the front end more cohesive with the HID headlights. Plus, I get a built in grille to keep crap out of the rads.

Gator, I have them installed on my '06 as well.
I've had them for about a year and a half, but now three of the LEDs on one side are out.
Joe (the mfg) believes the LEDs have either been damaged by a road object (though there is no visible damage and I recall nothing hitting the car), or that a cold solder joint has failed (I'm pretty sure this is the case).
So, one option that Joe offered is to replace the one damaged spar at a reduced price, but it seems like if I do that the new spar may not match my old one as Joe uses newer LEDs now.
Or, I can buy two new spars at a reduced price.
This is the option I am leaning toward, but I've been indecisive about whether to do that or just go back to the stock driving lights.
I like the look but I am just a bit disappointed that they have not lasted longer.

I just installed mine, as well.
I am keeping the original hardware, but I do prefer these with integrated radiator protection. I had a ton of old leaves and stuff down in my rad bays.

Yours looks great, let's catch up again (will you be at the swap meet this Sunday)?
Apologies for the thread hijack. +++++ for Joe's light spars. Would have been one of my first mods on the 987.1 I almost bought.
