Default Highest Mileage Spyder

Almost 40k miles on mine (see odometer, first photo below). Anyone have more on theirs? Still loving every minute. The car is a keeper.

Nicely done. I have 33,000 on a 2012 Cayman R.....and put 11,000 on my Spyder prior to that. Surely that counts for something?

Great photos btw....car looks fantastic!

Like.

I've only got 13,400 on mine. It seems strange, but the car seems more at risk on the regular street than at the track, so I don't drive it on the street much. Drivers on track are much more aware than those on the street....

I just crossed 8K, I hate to see the miles pile on, however, as others have said if the miles don't pile on then why own it?

Who's the girl?

19,295 miles on mine. Got it last September with 7,900 miles, I think. Mileage will increase more slowly now that I've begun trailering it to the tracks (drove it multiple times to VIR, WGI, once to Mid-Ohio, once to Mosport, etc., etc.). It's also my semi-daily driver! The top is off most of the time and I don't often drive it in the rain though.

Many of us including myself feel bad about putting miles on our treasures, but something I read online and like: no one on their deathbed ever said "I wish I had put less miles on that car"!!

Had to go for the "deathbed", thanks Vetman. Now I'm going to want a hood ornament burned with my body and added to my urn.

Beautiful shots, especially that second one. I love the look of a slightly dirty well used Spyder.

This is one of the purist modern day driver's cars and begs to be driven, and driven hard. Anyone who lets it sit in the garage for fear of accruing miles will have their Spyder confiscated by the I'maweanie brigade.

Lol. Is that why you keep upping the size of your wife's car?

Thanks, guys. The Spyder has been flawless too -- no problems. It does it all: daily commute, weekend track duty and evenings out with my wife (she gets to drive -- that is her in the pic). There is also a GT3RS and a 993 in my garage, but I usually reach for the keys to the Spyder!
