Is there a way to wire the switch so the sport exhaust in open (on) all the time on our spyder?

Yup, this guy makes a little box that can do it, I pulled one out of my car when it arrived as the keyfob that activates it is gone. If you want one apparently the fob can be replaced, I think I still have the device I can check.

With our "PSE controller" you can switch on/off your exhaust whenever you want.
It has a memory function that will remember your last choice.

Spare remotes are available !

I would like two of these. One for a Cayman R and one for a 991 cab. Both have factory PSE.

Cool unit. I was looking for something more permanent...like ripping out the stupid flaps!

Just pull the plug from the PSE electro valve and the exhaust will be loud all the time.
Our unit does the same thing...............but it also allows you to switch back to silent whenever that is needed and without crawling in the engine bay first .

It's frustrating that the exhaust doesn't have a memory function from the factory. The PSE button is the first button I hit when I start up the Spyder.

Oh well.

Hi Gert, do you have any pics or instructions as to where to pull the PSE Electro Plug per your post? On my old 06 911 C2S they put the brownish orange plug on top and to the right in the engine bay. It was very easy to get too. Curious where the plug is on a 12' CR. thanks in advance, Roy

Gert - I have the GT Exhaust from Cantrell on my 2011 Base Cayman. Really love it. I'm thinking of replacing the single tip that comes standard on the base cayman with one of the dual tips that come standard on the S model. Will swapping out the tip like that change my exhaust note?

Great to hear that you like the GT exhaust !
The double T exhaust tip like on the gen2 S and CaymanR have a larger outlet diameter and increase the sound a little bit.
