Default gt3 RS 4.0 Alcantara Steering Wheel with Red Band available!

Ric Knab just emailed me with photos of the first .2 gt3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition alcantara Sport Design wheels with red band at 12 o'clock that has arrived at Suncoast Porsche parts. He ordered it on a whim two months ago! A little pricey compared to the .1 gt3 RS wheel I got from him in March. This one doesn't have red stitching (found in US bound 4.0's) but it does have the red alcantara band! If anybody here at Rennlist is interested, please get in touch with him ASAP. He has only one right now! Tell Ric that Eduardo referred you to him.

I called to buy one and it turned out that the wheel is the standard thickness. I prefer the thicker wheel option. Bummer

Is this a true OEM wheel, or a sport wheel that has been re-covered?

I wonder how much it would cost to have dsv custom re-cover the wheel with alcantara, red stripe, and red stitching if you just buy the leather wheel for $1200.

That price is crazy but the wheel is nice.

For $1800 I would rather get a ligthweight battery or maybe a titanium exhaust system.

Good luck finding a Titanium Exhaust for $1800!!! In any case, I agree this steering wheel is just too expensive (for what it is) at $1849. Saludos, z356

No kidding, the REMUS Ti for the Spyder is 4200.00, that includes the shipping, anywhere in the US. Sounds great, but no worth the $$, over the PSE, IMO.

Obviously wishful thinking on my part!

The only advantage the Titanium has over the PSE IMHO is the weight. I like the look of the stock tips and I absolutely love the sound and the ability to turn it down when I want to.

I guess weight isn't that important unless your racing but in keeping with the spirit of what Porsche was trying to achieve with the Spyder it seems like a worthy aftermarket component.

Sorry about taking this OT.
