Default Ready to order, color suggestions?

I've decided to scrap my original plan, which was to buy an '09 Cayman S with PDK, CPO. There's only 4 in the whole country right now, and the prices have been going up, not down. At mid to high 50's, it doesn't seem like a good value. I need a car sometime between July (when my 335i lease is up) and November (when my wifes 350Z lease is up).
Will be ordering a 2012 with PDK, Infotainment and Convenience packages, sport chrono, ventilated seats and paddle shifters. I plan on leasing for 3 years, this will be my DD.
Was originially looking at Porsche Racing Green with sand interior, but dealer looked it up yesterday, and it's now a special color, over $3k for paint doesn't seem worth it.
Looking for classic colors, but don't want black, looks good, but too hard to maintain. Speed yellow is cool, but may draw too much attention, not really my style.
Thinking White with sand interior, any other suggestions?

Black, Blue or Red interior works. Sand and Gray really doesn't do it for me and ages really quick and looks horrible.

White is a nice color as well as the balsic black but then again it is almost as hard to keep clean as the black.

White with sand looks outstanding. Contrary to a post above, white is the easiest (best) color with respect to showing dirt. Black is the worst.

White with blue interior and the dark intake and wheel package (appearance package?). It'll look amazing.

My money is within 12 months you'll be very tired of yellow - unique, but it's a quickly "tiring" color.

I'm thinking white with sand or black. I'm not worried about the lighter interior not holding up as well, I'll most likely turn it in after 3 years anyway.

My GF ordered her S in Carrera GT silver with sand a couple of years ago. Still the best looking Cayman I've seen.

Amen! I loved my SY 08 Cayman S with black leather interior. No better combo.

Sincerely,

Macster.

My other car ('01 330i) is black. Love it - some cars are just made to be black - but also hate it - impossible to keep clean, particularly where I live.

I've owned cars in bright blue, dark red and white. For my money, Caymans look best in Silver and black. Easy to keep clean, classy. It just fits.

To each his own, but here's my vote:

We just got our 2011 Boxster S...Silver/Beige. Gorgeous. See 987 forum for pics.

Easy to keep clean.

We saw a Bentley cabriolet with this combination and loved it.

Life is good.

One caveate: the beige steering wheel so you need to clean it about 1x a month. We had a 2004 986S with sand beige interior and orient red metallic exterior.
