Can anyone help with finding ship name?

I have an order reference number, a VIN, a build date of June 9th, an on vessel date of June 17th, and a sales manager that says Porsche doesn't give out transport ship names.
I'm not sure I buy that last bit since I've seen (read on the forums) where owners have tracked their cars across the ocean. Can anyone help me in determining what ship my car is on?

Hey dig-it, my Spyder may be on the same vessel but I didn't ask the sales manager for the ship name. I was told it was due in Georgia on July 7th. If there's a way to track the ship, I would call and ask him. He offered me the VIN, etc but I figured, what's the point, it gets there when it gets there. However, if it can truly be tracked, that might be kind of fun.

Your sales person is not allowed to give you that info. However, they can bend the rules if they like. They have a spread sheet where you cross reference the On Vessel date with the port of arrival. That gives you the vessel name, which you can then track by searching google. I cannot confirm or deny whether I have this spread sheet.

So then then the hypothetical question posed to someone who may or may not be in possession of such a spreadsheet would be the ship name based on an on vessel date of June 17th and Baltimore as the port of arrival. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Pretty sure only the dealer has access to look up the ship name. My dealer was nice enough to provide that info for my Spyder order. I would ask again nicely stating that other dealers provide it for their buyers.
Good luck

If I were to make a complete guess at the vessel name, it would be maybe the same as the vessel my car (if there is such a thing) is on. "Artemis Leader".
Trackable here: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...206:33:54%20PM
Which looks like it is in Baltimore, and got in early. It was scheduled to arrive (estimate) on July 3rd.
But this is merely guessing, and you don't owe me a case of nice wine or anything.

I see it has a destination of Cristobal Panama (Atlantic side - Gatun locks) and an ETA of today July 7th.

Don't know if it's there yet or not though.

I used my considerable skills and waded stealthily through the bureaucracy and phone transfers of the shipping company for the Artemis Leader. Tracking online doesn't always update. The vessel is scheduled to be in San Diego on the 15th. Porsche doesn't know this, they still think it's the 18th.
