Anyone else get the feeling Porsche is targeting the under-30 homosexual dance club market with the new Cayman? Just go to the Porsche website and see what I mean. What the hell is the matter with Porsche's marketing department?

Sense of humor on Cayman board = nonexistent.

Is having a portrait of a racist for your avatar supposed to be funny?

Thank you for proving multiple points...

1) You have no sense of humor.
2) You're a limp-wristed politically correct progressive to whom "racist" is the worst accusation in the world.

I'm over thirty and like women...should I sell my cayman?
Maybe pcar964 has gotten his panties in a twist due to a hairdresser in a cayman passing him at the track?

Is racist better or worse than queer?
I guess the worst of all is a racist queer guy in a cayman huh?

Your attempted joke has a logical flaw. Non sequiturs are the security blanket of those who lack wit.

Nope. Looks like just you feeling the under-30 homosexual dance club crowd

J/K. I saw the micro-site and thought it was a waste. Porsche is all about marketing as we know. If they weren't, we'd get a GT3 Cayman.

It's hard to tell when he comes in and insults the entire Cayman forum. I'll make up my own mind, thank you.

Believe me, Porsche wants to target everybody, not one specific group. Why would they want to target only under 30s homosexuals? Doesn't make sense to me. Plus I really don't see anything gay to their Cayman web special.
Do homosexuals like the Cayman? Definitely. After reading recent survey, they really do. Which is a compliment for Porsche and the Cayman since usually homosexuals have style and good taste.

Perhaps Porsche's marketing department realized not all potential customers are old, balding men in raincoats like the OP. (j/k)

I quite liked it, but then again I'm in my mid-30's and threw techno-ish parties only a few years ago. I just think they've realized their customer base is aging and they're hoping to draw a younger audience to the cayman.

I realize the OP is making a joke, but it's insulting and in poor taste. This is not the Miata forum...

How is that a non-sequitur? You assume cayman drivers are 30ish gay men and then it was pointed out that you may support a racist comedian thus adding the two together to make a melange of the "best of the best". i thought you had more of a sense of humor than that.

I'm not easily offended and think this thread is pretty funny!

Edit: I just watched the intro to the site and don;t think it's too bad....a bit cheesy but still ok.
