Needless to say the color is spectacular, it never fails to draw a crowd. If you like being left alone at car events, it's not for you!

As mentioned above, those are the stats for the Cayman R colors. Peridot was only available for a short time on the S. Not sure if it was a mistake at the time with the Cayman build configurator or what happened, but VERY few were produced as it was a short window of opportunity.
Just glad I found one!

Actually Peridot Metallic was a "Special Exterior Color" available as an option on the Cayenne GTS. Yup it was on the cover of the marketing material, same as with the launch of the Cayman R. I have personally never seen another Peridot Metallic Porsche in person in my life but looking forward to the day...
Out of curiosity I looked a bit for a window sticker on a Peridot Cayenne to see pricing but no luck so far. Only thing I found was on the TruCar configurator for a Cayenne GTS it lists it as a ~$3k option.
Either way the color is considered rare on any Porsche model and especially so on a Cayman S. Once I saw it I knew I had to have it. The color just pops and looks so good. Not 100% sure I would go this route on a Cayenne, though.

The S model is unique for the story behind why it exists, because it is truly rare, and it looks phenomenal. Enjoy it!
BTW, that Rennbow guide has errors... Peridot was not available on the Boxster or Cayman models listed (other than 2012). They are probably confusing it with Lime Gold Metallic, which is similar but with far more yellow/brown.

I like the Meteor Metallic Gray but felt like it needed a little pop of color. I finally got around to installing a set of Cayman R style stripes this week.
