The wheels look their best since I removed, scrubbed, and polished them.. The pads that came with this aftermarket Brembo kit (from Tirerack) get the wheels quite dirty.

If I had not already ordered its replacement, a '23 Cayman GTS 4L...

...I'd be ordering Porterfield R4-S pads for the fronts.. I'm also strongly considering keeping the 2010's 19" wheels--which I LOVE the looks of--and tires for the GTS.. The teeny, weeny brakes P puts on these also will look a little less tiny under 19s.

* It's hotter than the proverbial hubs of hell in Phoenix, with its SIX months of summer, so I do this and other outside work in short bursts.
Jeffrey that Macadamia is wonderful. I think you'll love the GTS but miss the 987.

My sizes are 255/35-19 and 295/35/19.. Those ought to do it.

Yup; I seriously considered that for a custom paint color but decided not to spend the 11K$.

I was at Zone 1 PCA autocross last weekend in Massachusetts, two days of fun in my Cayman. The following photo is NOT my car, this is a 2022 Cayman GT4 that belongs to Rachel Baker, she took fastest time of the day on Sunday! This is Frozen Berry!

@andy7777 they're Work Brombacher 19x9, 19x11 ...the face design is similar to BBS E88, but with some slight hints of BBS LM. I'm a big fan of all three! Running LM on my 986 S.

@Zach L

If you don't mind me asking, what are your final offsets and tire sizes? I just put some 15mm spacers on the back of my cayman with e88, with a 275/35, its a bit too much....debating going back to a 265 on the next tire set

Wheels are et46 both front and rear. Inside of rear wheels hit the shock body so I was running 7mm rear spacers. After 7mm spacers, it was still so close I could slide a piece of paper through, but it would hold the sheet lol. Surprisingly, during hard cornering I was getting ever so slight rubbing (I believe due to flex in the stock upper shock mount) so I've switched to a 10mm rear spacer. Probably would have been fine with 8mm. Final effective specs using 10mm rear spacers: 19x9 et46, 19x11 et36.

For tires, I've done the stretched tire thing and like a little more meat these days. 305/30 rear, 245/35 front. Stock Cayman R shocks/springs.

Prior to spacers:

Thanks @Zach L !

You've got some meats on the back of that thing for sure, my e88 are 9" & 10" respectively, but my rears are et38 so they are pushed out pretty far with the spacer....also, guessing that you have a 30 aspect ratio and stock suspension helps too.

Nice! The color is called Peridot Metallic. It was linked to the launch of the 2012 Cayman R. A handful of Cayman S were able to be ordered back then when Porsche allowed the color for a couple of months in the build configurator. Mine is also a 6-speed, only 1 of 2 in this color that I have been able to track down so far. The other two I found are PDK. At this time I only know of 4 Cayman S in this color, including mine.
