Realistic Weight Loss??
Assuming one wanted to make a psuedo RS (term used loosely..no flaming). How could weight be shaved, could you lose 100lbs?
Let's begin:
1. GT3 Seats
2. Light Weight Wheels, Dymag has some nice ones (only 8k+ a set )
3. Carbon Fiber Hood?
4. SS Header
5. SS Exhaust
6.???

I think you will only have to lose 50 lbs. or so to get to Clubsport (or whatever it's going to be called) weight.
Light aftermarket wheels would save a little, though the stock 18s are plenty light out of the box; Dymags strike me as crazy. Fikes or an equivalent would still save a few lbs. per corner.
The GT3 seats are a big weight-saver, 60 lbs//pr., but then you add a rollbar and harnesses and gain some back (TCDesign bar w. extra braces +70 lbs.). Still a great mod.
Aluminum-bodied dampers like Motons or JRZs will save a little. This weight-savings business can get expensive real fast...
Maybe a lightweight battery, but you can't go too small or your accessories run out of juice.
Fikse Profil 13 wheels -19 lbs.
I'm sure there are other ideas out there.

Its easy.
Carbon Fiber or Fiber glass body parts.
Muffler's
Cat Bypass
Headers
Mind as well chip the car (the exhaust will lighten it and give you some power) for max power
Light wheels
Wait for the 997 Base GT3 seats to come out
Remove all the carpet on the interior
Remove the front and rear bumper covers then remove the aluminum bumpers and put the bumper covers back on.
Gut the doors (only if you really want to lose everything)
PCCB
After that your talking the wheels and the suspension solid bushings and all of that just because if you are doing the suspension Mind as well do it right.
Not much more you can do to lose on that car but I would imagine that would be a very fun car.
Need anything I'll see what I can source for you drop an e-mail if your interested.

When I ditched my stock seats in my track car the NET weight savings was about 35# PER SEAT. So a 100# reduction would be a piece of cake.
It just depends on how hard core you want to make it.
I was able to loose a net of almost 300# in the car below and that was with installing a 100# full cage...

I'd be very careful on using CF doors. Going straight CF means you loose a lot of side intrusion protection.

Aluminum bumpers are for your protection. If you crash you are crushing the front of the car(or the rear) At that point there is nothing you can do about a tow hook but if you are really looking for a track car then you can always locate a different stlye tow hook somewhere else on the car.

i've seen race cars without the aluminum bar so that's why i thought it may just be 5mph bumpers.
