I'd like to know on the wheels and springs too. Thanks!
Sometimes dealers built you a nice little package but in the end, you end up paying 1.5 times the goodies and they might not be exactly what you would want.
yeah, they rape you on the wheels. i don't remember the exact price, but like $3k for rims, $1k for springs.
the car is an 06 with 4k miles. $65k original sticker. they listed it for $65k with the wheels and tires, but will take $61k (after lowballing me on a trade in)...

Before you say they rape you on the wheels and/or springs, I suggest you price them. Champions are something like $4500 and up, and while the springs are only a few hundred, labor to install them is considerable.
For used, the price does not impress me, though...

I know the retail on the Champion rims are ridiculous. Do you think they're worth $4,500? I think I'd go with another wheel. Plus, they're a distributor of those rims, and they are keeping the stock 19's...so they want to make a margin on the car and the rims?
I know the springs and install for $1200 isn't that bad, but still probably $500 overpriced.
I'm going to sell my car before seriously looking for a Cayman...but I don't think they will drop another $10k (to $50k) when they already started at $65k.

Just playing devil's advocate some more, but I don't think Porsche offers any factory forged wheels right now. When they did, they were an almost $3K upgrade (and Porsche also kept the stock wheels). Most forged wheels are over $4K, and the Champions are 1-piece forged. They may not be worth it to you, but obviously these ridiculously priced wheels are worth it to some. The only way you're going to get "cast" prices on forged wheels is used/eBay. If forged is no big deal to you, then get some cast wheels of whatever style you like.
