My Cayman S is mainly a daily driver, but I'm also like to drive it at the track now and then (10 track days this year so far). I love PASM. I find it just right for daily driving in normal mode, and quite capable on the track in Sport mode. I have also changed to the H&R springs and the combination with PASM works very well.
But, as many have said repeatedly, the only way to decide is to drive a car with and without PASM and see which one you like. I've seen opinions on both setups that are all over the place which clearly tells me that it is all about personal preference.
Another great choice is to get the car without PASM and go with a PSS9 suspension. At least on other Porsches, this setup is has very good street drivability and more than adequate for the track. In my view, PSS9 is basically a manually adjustable PASM; I prefer the automatic adjustability of PASM.
