Anyone figure out how to hook it up to the CD 24 system?

Join the waiting list. Nobody makes anything for the MOST bus yet. Best bet is a wireless FM transmitter type thing until somebody comes out with something.

Hello,

Pending the release by someone of a cable, I have found the recently released PodFreq by Sonnet to the best FM transmitter after trying a few others. Seems to work pretty well, one cable and charges your iPod.. A little more expensive but seems worth it so far..

Enjoy,

Scott

Scott -
Can you provide a link to the item you are referring to?
How much are we talking here?

I'll have to dig around for it, but if anyone is interested in developing their own solution, there are companies out there that are starting to provide components for interfacing into the MOST-bus system.
The components really seem to only consist of modulators/demodulators, cabling interfaces, and the like. There are plenty of technical papers offering an intense dialog on the protocol(s) used over the MOST(CAN).

My guess is you would have to be an engineer at Delphi or some other automotive electronics manufacturer to figure it out ...

It would probably cost more to buy a car from them with the "stereo delete" option than to just pitch the stuff in the trash when you replace it.

indeed, i'm not sure why people order delete options, like badge delete. you can always remove the stuff when your car comes and you have a nice desk ornament.
