Default Help Identifying Underbody Pieces

Looking for a hand identifying what these rubber grommets/inserts might be for. They popped out of somewhere when I was taking off the front underbody panel. I looked around and checked schematics but I for the life of me couldn’t figure out where they came from. Any input is appreciated.

I don't know their exact location, but those are weep drains that allow water to escape. The round end fits in a hole in the bodywork with the beveled end protruding down and outside the car. I'm not certain, but it looks as if the one you are holding may be split/damaged, which would be why it came out.

thanks that will help me research a bit more. No damage on them as far as I could tell. Both of them had the same little slit on the end that looked more like a precise cut meant to be there rather than a tear or damage.

Those drains are generally placed at the lowest point in the pan, where water would most likely collect. One more thing, it's entirely possible that they're old pieces that came out or were replaced and left rolling around in the underbody panel.

Update - figured out that they are placed in the battery tray area and two of them had somehow popped out. Pics below. Confirmed this is where they go based on a drain map of the car, also saw another one in the area that was about to fall through, odd that would happen but it helps explains my situation.

there’s also one under the steering rack where the yellow arrow is pointing, can’t see it from the pic.

Those holes can also be an entry point for mice.
